what can I beat?

I always get a little confused on 1/4 mile times because of my altitude. What would my car run at a normal altitude which most of you are at. And also could I beat a 5.0 GT Mustang? Just wondering, any info helpful?

I don't know if you can beat a 5.0 GT, it matters what kind of condition your car is in. 1987 350's are alot different than the 90-92 ones. Your car had 220 Hp at the flywheel stock and with those mods I don't think youve passed those numbers yet. I think you're in the 14's if your car is running properly. Magazine test Iv'e read are all over the place as 1/4 mile is concerned but here is some readin for ya

You will run at least a full second slower than if you were at sea level. Do you go to PFI or what? I hear that track is pretty bad.

I would say your car could run a high 15 second at ALTITUDE, which means a 14 second car at sea level. As for beating stangs, if its an auto, go claim a vicotry, but watch out for 5 speed cars. I would suggest some headers and good tires, that really wakes up out TPI cars. Good luck!

I don't think you want to add to your ET Timing adjustments won't reduce ET's unless it was severly off.
