A 13 second street car isnt bad, but it depends on how hard you have to work to go 13s, and what kind of 13. A 13.9 @ 94 on slicks is not the same as a 13.0 @ 125 on 18" street radials...

How can you say 25th's car speaks for itself, why would you support a mustang driver on a f-body site. I live for smashing on stangs and i know a lot of camaro and firebird drivers that do also, I'm not saying people who drive stangs are bad people because i have met quite a few who were pretty cool guys but its an fbody site come on.

Who cares, a car enthusiest is a car enthusiest. I doubt you're "smashing" on many Mustangs with your mighty 305.

Smashing "into" Mustangs doesn't count.

irocznickv8 you made my day talking about clica's and beating TT supras...getta...LOL

Also got a kick out of his gangsta Honda buddy talking about how sweet 13 second street cars are LOL. Atleast that's what I gathered his post was about. Guys probably graduated High School and they can't even speak english, that's when you know something is wrong with our schools.

LOL Oh yeah and the automatic makes your car faster is the most retarded thing i've ever heard.

I dont care what site Im on, you want to talk the talk, come out and walk the walk. Ill let you know the day the cars out from paint, and the interior is back in, and we can let you do all the smashing you would like...

he hasnt spent hardly any money on the car. Just bolt ons, and you would be amazed at what a foxbody with bolt ons can do. With the same bolt ons, you still wouldnt win.

Full bolt-ons isn't cheap, trust me i've been there. Not to mention he has an intake, GT-40 valves and some other **** that I can't remember. I am not amazed at all at what a bolt-on foxbody can do, I'm just amazed at what 25th's bolt-on fox can do. Most bolt-on fox's in my area run 13.6-14.5 depending on several different factors.

Hell my dad just sold his bolt-on fox-body with a manual in it. He didn't have the intake just like the regular bolt-ons and his best time on slicks was like 13.6 and I can't remember the mph. Somewhere in the 101ish area. He traded it in on an 03 cobra and that car ****ing hauls *** like you wouldn't believe.

I probably wouldnt be amazed. Not counting the car, I have about $2000 tops into the rest of the car and have been 12.99 on street tires. I would love to see you spend $2000 and go anything faster than mid 13s all motor.

Also to note, you claim you beat 85% of Mustangs in your area. Come to my area, I will line you up with 10, and only have to make 2 phone calls. Drop that 85% down to about 5% REAL quick.

Oh well continue to dog on Fords. This Ford and MOST others I know are a LOT faster than you!

Let's not forget, there are also alot of "slower" stangs out there because, well, in general there are just alot of stangs on the road

True, theres a lot of daily driver stangs out there. But to say you kill 85% of them, 10% can barely keep up, and the other 5% beat you is absurd.

The truth is pretty much every mustang I come across IN MY AREA(NOT YOURS) is slower than ****. Mostly just bolt-on 5.slow's and 4.6's. The only fast mustangs I see are the occasional mach 1 or 03 cobra. That's about it.

Maybe its just where im from then(southern state). People here still like their foxbody gt's and lx's, and they like the newer gts as well.

Wow your guys areas suck. I can say besides the 96-98 cars, and a few ragged on or stock 5.0s, my area has some fast cars. Hell if we combine our 3 fast Mustangs, my friend Daves 3 cars, and another friend Todds 3 cars, we could change that 85% he so mentions! I dont see how some kid with a near stock 305 can talk **** about Mustangs when he has a 14 second car AT BEST...

Oh well, there is no hope for some people!

25thmustang How far above sealevel is your track? I have to admit here in NC mustangs don't see mid 12's with your mods they see 13's with slicks at best. We do have our fair share of unbeatable stangs too but full bolt on with unported GT40 heads and stock cam stangs don't do 12s. Shoot look how hard it was to get the 300hp 05 stang into the low 12s. It took 4.30 gears full bolt ons, prom work and huge slicks!

One track I frequent (my best is only a low 12.6 @ 106.3, but only had a sad 1.77 60') is about 1200' above sea level. The other track is Etown, which is sea level. To note on my best pass it was decent weather, but not spetacular. My friend went 12.9 all day, yet on other nights has been 12.7s (for reference). There was more in it in better air...

Also those mods on an 05 with a little wight removed... Sounds like my friend Joes car. Went 12.20 @ 109 with a 1.6 60'. He was in the 12s with very little done to the car! Remember I dont race with morons, and snot nosed kids, I run with guys who know what they are doing, and sqeeze everything out of the car!

No thanks, rather not resort to illegal drugs to get my fix. Better though, more drugs and mind numbing things out there for you!

Hey I was being nice when I said 14s. He could easily run up to NED and get a track number and prove something. But for now all we have is the fact that he beats every Mustang except Mach 1s, Cobras, and a turboed fox. When the reality is he probably gets walked by stockers but wont admitt it!

If I was an admin on this site, I'd make all the guys like that tool honorary members of the 14-second-****** club. I'd put it in all of their titles.

Fact: The Chevy small block is quite possibly the greatest engine ever
Fact: These are not opinions, these are facts
Fact: I kick ****
Fact: Carbs rule
Fact: My record vs Mustangs : 24-6 for me

I'm out of facts.
24 V6 mustangs don't count What was the point of your post anyway?

25thmustang what was your car running when you first got it? Does every V8 Explorer Suv have GT40 heads? My friend just bought a 92 stang GT with a stock rebuild 3.73 gears and H-pipe w/flows. Just trying to figure out how fast his car is with stock heads. I know my thirdgen will mop the floor with him but I'm going to buy a 94 firebird auto thats completely stock and I wonder if it can take him. I'm also trying to get him to upgrade those heads thats why I asked about the explorer heads.

Hes trying to jump on the bash 25th bangwagon. Too bad there are a lot more guys whor espect me, than those who dislike me. Keep fighting a losing battle...

When I got it, 15.3 @ 91 (roughly). Its come a decent way since I got it when I was 16. Every V8 Explorer does, but different years were different. Im not sure exactly what as I have yet to do much research on these heads, but any Mustang site would have that answer. 3.55s, catback, pulleys, and tires and my dads car was in the 13.6 range. Added headers, struts and a few other things and went 13.3 @ 101.

eeesh!

look at the ****storm I started.

Admins, sorry.

25thMustang, awesome rig, even if it is a Ford.
(I believe in respecting what a machine can do, regardless of its marque)

Everyone else with street-sweeping cars, props to you too.

And to everyone who says their cars are awesome (but really aren't), prove it. :-P

There was no point to my post, just like every other post in this thread. Same old crap.

Chevy advocates. Ford advocates, and the in betweenies that 'respect' everything. All doing the same old same old.

BTW, V6 mustangs? Please bro. I don' even waste my gas on those wastes of metal.

And I'm willing to bet my 355 will mop the floor with your 327 any day of the week. Got Torque? The nitrous is hooked up as well.

Also, about 25thmustang. I'm not hating. I just don't care about his one of thousands of 5 liter mustangs. The cars are so common, that most people would have to be idiots to need to be 'educated' on them, as 25th so puts it. Take a good look at the mustang posts. Sure they're nice at first, but push a few buttons, and the true colours show. This thread is a good example actually.

Wanna know his true purpose? A twelve sec mustang owner on a third gen site? Ego booster. Nuff said.

Believe me, I dont need to be here to boost my ego. If you met me (which a few people from the board have) you would be quick to realize that. My true colors show on every post, just like everyone else, I tell what I know, defend what I know, and stick up for myself when guys with 15 second 305s start talking down to Mustangs and to me. Your true colors are shining through now, making posts for no reason other than to stir trouble where you dont belong. Thanks for the healthy input into a post that was going nowhere to begin with. We really appreciate your contributions.

'Oh yeah, and my 12 second Mustang runs 12s on this site, the Mustang sites, and in real life. I dont need you guys to boost anything. If I want an ego booster I go to the local hang out and stir up some conversations, or hit the track and get people talking about the car. Amazing what doing something with very little parts will do... but you probably wouldnt know that!

Ok, you SAY you run 12's. You could be lying for all I know.
You SAY stock heads, cam , blah, blah blah. Ever heard of sleepers? Sneaky peets?
You SAY 305 15sec camaro's talking down to you. But I've seen you jump over the classic "a mustang needs much less to run the same numbers as your camaro" numerous times. It's tired.

I don't need education on mustangs on every single mustang related thread.
For every mustang faster than a camaro, there's a camaro faster than that mustang, and vice versa.

Seriously, I think you get kicks out of all the stories about 305's vs minivans, and then throw that crap back at the true enthusiasts when they stomp a mustang.

And you write up threads about thirdgens getting stomped by grocery getters, or whatever.

It's clear you're trying to get on somebody's nerves, but unfortunately, with a lot of slow cars here comes a lack of self confidence, and indirectly creates a lot of d*ck riders towards you and your 'godly' mustang.

OOO got a few Fbody guys getting their panties in a bunch. Hey ask the guys I have met and hung out with from this site... Believe it or not there are a few of them that personally know me, and have been to the track and parties with me.

You whining about the thread with SRT 4... hey not my fault some cars cant run with them. And if you READ the thread you would have known it was not saying anything other than how a race went down, which is perfectly fine to post on this forum.

Nowhere does it say I cant stick up for cars you guys know nothing about. There are very few people who know jack **** about anything other than Fbodies, and us "trolls" are here to educate some of you. If you dont want to read about it close your eyes and cover your ears...

If you really think anything YOU personally say will change me, get me kicked off, have me leave, or do anything other than give me another reason to spend 30 seconds on a post, your horribly mistaken. I am here for the long haul, and everyone knows it. Accept it and move on with your life.

And why dont YOU educate them on how to get faster, instead of trying to come back at me with every post you make. That would be nice wouldnt it. Thats what I do on Mustang boards, help people go faster, and have actually done that here. And believe me, the guys who personally know me, and even the ones that like me dont all have 15 second cars, and if they do... they own thirdgens, what can you expect (Im sure you wont see the sarcasm in that, but the educated people will).

Then you've obviously got a crap load of time on your hands.
Do you go and 'educate' all the RX7 owners on their boards as well?
What about those poor misguided 69 camaro owners? Are they grateful to have you lead the way to pure powa?

Please.

Random thread on a 305 beating a 5.0 will generate one of the following answers from 25th. Guaranteed.

a) "The guy in the mustang obviously doesn't know how to drive."
b) "Come on over to _________ and see some 5.0's run ya."
c) "You sure he was racing? My dad's stock 5.0 ran _____'."
d) "Well, maybe, but pour $xxxx into the 5.0, and he'll beat ya with same $xxxx in your camaro."
Bonus: "Yeah, but mustangs have over 5 magazines devoted to them. How many do camaros have?"

PS. Like I care about the people riding your nuts.
