1985 Z/28 Vs Cougar v-6
On my way to work a 2000+ cougar v-6 pulled up to me young guy driving had a few girls in the car well he throw some revs at me I was surprised he did that so I was thinking it was blown, NOS something. This is a LONG light I think the cougar was an Auto he was holding the brakes and the gas at the same time. Light turns green I stomp on it I chirped the tires and took off and that was all she wrote he’s 2 car behind me off the jump and I went to 60 (in a 55) let up he did the fly by. All I could tell for mods was a muffler the size of a paint can.

my friend has one of those v6 cougars and ive driven it a few times. those things are slow as hell, 2nd gear is next to no acceleration too, the only thing i liked about the car was the woosh it makes when it shifts (almost sounds like a BOV). good kill though

i've never driven the newer cougar, but i was in one, and it didnt seem too slow. im sure the car full of girls weighed it down a little. all in all, its cool wen a dude revs, u beat him, and then he has to think of excuses to tel the girls why he lost.

Yea, but he said it had a big muffler. Isn't that good for like 75 hp?
I just looked up the 2000 v6 cougar and it has 165 hp. I must be thinking of a different car.

Slap on a few bolt-ons and your doing 11's!!
