02 Lancer.
There is a kid around here really running his mouth about his 02 Lancer OZrally edition. He wants to run me when my new motor gets down and he thinks he can pull me pretty good. he has a 5 speed and can't shift for crap. the new motor is a 383 thats being built to around 430 flywheel HP with a 700r4 with a trans go shift kit. will i be able to run this kid? he says he will throw out $200 if i can win. can i take this kids money?

You're asking us if you can beat a 120 HP four cylinder with a 383 making ~430 HP? Something tells me that either he's not anywhere close to stock, you're overestimating your new engine's power output, or you're both just r icers

Sorry, I've heard some creepy stuff (this included).
Ya, unless he's got a twin turbo with NOS, why anyone with a healthy running 383 second guess themselves is beyond me!

Seriously, the OZ Rally Edition car is like a wheel package. You shouldn't even worry about a stock EVO with the kind of numbers you think that you'll have.

hmm sorry i asked. I really don't know that much about this kids car. i know this kid comes from money and could have some work done. i didn't really look up facts on his car so i didn't know what the cars specs were. i figured it was more like a evo the a 120hp fwd sedan. didn't really need all the bashing. but thanks anyway

I didn't mean to bash, it definately just sounded strange the way you worded it. If you didn't even look up the car on the internet (pretty easy to do, by the way), that makes more sense.

OZ Rally Edition = teh suxorz
... simple as that.
You should be able to pwn him with a freaking weak POS TBI car (assuming the Lancer is stock).

I know I should have looked the car up before i posted. I didn't think about it. i was assuming that the car was AWD and was closer to an EVO in performance. Next time i'll look it up first and then ask the stupid question
