What should I expect?
My dad has a 73 Z28 that has been swapped out to a tuned port setup from a 92 camaro. We are about to put on the procharger and Im curious what we should expect for horsepower and 1/4 mile times. Heres what we have on it:
350 4 bolt main
Stock vortec heads
SDPC vortec baseplate
24 lb injectors
Engle hydraulic cam about .440 lift
Hooker ceramic coated long tubes
Flowmaster exhaust
ATI P1SC Procharger with 2 core intercooler (9 or 10 psi)
Turbo 350 trans with shift kit
12 bolt with 3.73 gears
Also what could we do with 12psi and meth injection?

Re: What should I expect?
Been a while but I went back to subscribed threads and saw this so I thought I'd update.
This was tuned using a syclone/typhoon ecm by me
We went to bigger injectors and only ran 5psi (we have more now but thats what it had at the track)
Brakes wouldnt hold at the line so it was launching with no power. On the street with 245 radial TA's it spun through all three gears and still ran at the door of my buddys C5.
13.1 in the 1/4 all day long
2.2-2.3 60' times - On ET streets with no spin, like I said the brakes wont hold and its a tighter than stock stall.
This is low boost and going easy on it. It drives very nice wherever we want to go. There is now a 9psi pulley on it and we wont go beyond that till we do a little bottom end work. We also have a 700R4 and a 3k stall we just have to rebuild the tranny first before we can use it but we are now wrapped up in a 55 belair that will get a complete resto.

The heads and cam are going to kill you with that supercharger. Your going to want bigger heads or maybe you can port the ones you have. Nice combo

Yeah, at first there was no intention of adding the supercharger. It was a last minute thing so the engine wasnt built around it. It will get a nice roller cam and some head work eventually. We put down too much power though and I dont think the 35 year old rear diff thats never been touched will like us.

"24 lb injectors and 10 psi on that motor?"
Had I seen the original post that would have been my response. We run 24 lbers on 300 rwhp cars.

Haha, we ran those with a slipping belt and only making 3 psi for a while then went to some stock 32# injectors from my typhoon I had laying around but they were near maxed with more boost. We went to I think 40# or something now. I cant remember exactly what they are now. Its been a while.
