i guess its understandable that i "lost" to a rsx. I have a 91 rs with a 305 h.o. crate and a custom exhaust from the last owner. We were both 5spds and i think he has i/h/e. From a roll he pulled about a car on me then i started to reel him in, but then he would just shut off so i couldnt really tell if i was going to pass him or not. Im really getting sick of 4 bangers beating me

Re: rsx type s
to make your day worse, if the acura was a 5-speed it was not an s-type, they only have 6 speeds.
i had a 2001 or 02, i cant even remember, rsx as my DD a few years back
, and just from having one let me say it was fast as hell for a little 2.0 with 160hp and a 5 speed. you could chip the tires all the way to 4th if you let it all out, and that little motor screamed. i hate to even say it, but i miss that car, it was fun.

what does your 350 put out? he probably didn't know how to drive it, or it was an auto and not an s type.

id like to see that, he cant drive either.

Re: rsx type s
Im 100% Positive it was an RSX type S A spec we've worked together for 2 years there not "fast cars” even he’ll say that. RSX has normal bolt he said they handle boost good. My 350 cam, headers, normal bolt ons 373 dyno 335hp. Another co-worker has a Nissan 350 Z Stock he beat the RSX my boss as a 95 Mustang 5.0 bolt ons and beat the RSX I’ve beat all of them.

Re: rsx type s
i didnt know the thing about 5 speeds being only in the standard rsx, i just guessed because i dont really know nething about that car just that it was manual. I looked up the times of the type s and im getting number between high 14's to really low 15's. And i looked up the times for my car and its low 15's, and i know the 305 h.o was known to break into the 14's with little mods, so i guess it makes sense that it was a pretty good race
