Stupid state law. Most places my friend goes with her race car just let her do it since the car has an in trunk fuel cell lol.
I was at a self serve place a few months ago and watched a car pull in, and just sit. The girl driving looked a bit confused. I filled my tank, went in grabbed a drink and she was still sitting there. I noticed the front plate... New Jersey. We were in CT, poor girl probably had no clue about how to pump her own gas.

 

wow this thread is crazy guys, i'm sure glad i live in ohio sometimes.

i've never been pulled over for noise ordinance and im 18 years old and always jam at 2 or 3am in the morning ,thats with 12in woofers and a far from sock system, i admit a lot of times i drive like a complete *** still and am hot headed but, i never endanger others and never do it near other cars unless i have a grudge against someone on a back road tolling 25 through 55 or something.

anyways i live in heath ohio which is a very very fastly developing sububurb and car fanatics are everywhere, unfortunately its 90% rice but, i've only been pulled over 1 time in my life and the cop was just doing his job. I run no front license plate on my new iroc and have had 0 problems so far.

i cant belive some of the tickets you guys got, and to beleive a guy got jumped by cops handcuffed and fined for smoking in his backyard is absurb.

Hell the only time i was ever pulled over was at 2am in the morning for suspicious driving because, i jerked my wheel to wake up my passengers and the cop thought i may have been drunk, i let him search my car for peace of mind, got a warning and drove off.

all i have to say is im glad i live in good old ohio and dont have these problems yet. That and good luck with these absurb tickets big y boys. I gurntee i'd figh the sound ordinance tickets but, im a man of principle.

 

reading some of these posts just lets me know how lucky i am. I've been pulled over three times in my stealth for no front plate with warnings for all of them. Been pulled over twice in my bird for no front plate also with warnings. There was one guy that pulled me over for no front plate and then he asked about exhaust. I thought i am about to get a ticket for loud exhaust but he said that it sounds nice and left. 90% of the time if they see good looking car driving down the street and see a young guy in there, they will pull you over just to check it out. Once i been driving my friends truck, and got pulled over for going 7mph over speed limit(his spedo is out of wack ever sense he put new wheels on) and expired registration sticker. Got away with a warning. In a little town that i used to live at it seems like cops new my car because i've only been pulled over once. The rest are in different towns.

 

funny thing is i DIDENT know about the loud music ordinance, ive heard a little bit about it but the only people that get it are the ones that have 2 12' subs an amplifier and the whole setup. my sound system is mostly stock except the speakers in the back and the crappy aiwa headunit. i guess they are right when they say pioneer is the best bang for the buck

funny story...ive lived in jersey my whole life as well as my whole family, my sister was out in california and she needed gas and had no idea what to do. i really dont understand why nj still does it probably because were literally retarded...most gas station attendants are like dotheads and stuff, but like since wawa is based in PA and was formed there (most stores in NJ) its privately owned and most people are white and black that work there. ive tried getting jobs at other gas stations run by turkish men and stuff and they wouldent hire me. the only reason i wanted a job there was because it was very close to my house. but next time in your in wawa notice how theres no abboo behind the counter

 

You know....I only know of ONE station here in town, that still has attendants to pump your gas for you! And that neighborhood, is full of nothing but Beemers, Jags, & Mercedes!

I almost passed out, when I saw a car pull up, an attendant ran out, talked to the driver through the car window, and started pumping the gas!

 

No one should ever hate cops unless they purposefully did something to wrong you.

Hate the law not the ones enforcing it. They're just doing their jobs.

The problem is that there is so many cops on a power trip the chances are they have done something to alot of people.

After we put the transmission in my friends car we saw some 3 cops sitting at the part all lined up talking. We pulled up 2 them and asked if they could radar us so we could check out speedometer. They got all pissed like we had offended them and told us they didn't have any on them. so we drove around for about 10 mins then whent got his truck and started heading to town. Half way there we got pulled over by one of the cops for speeding.

Now i know we were speeding but there still was no need for them to lie and be jerks earlier.

 

exactly like if i was a police officer i probably would pull people over for speeding and stuff, but i would let them go with a warning..not all the time but i would alot, i wouldent try to give out as much tickets as i could
