my iroc vs a civic si
Just wanna here people's thoughts on this. My brother beat him by four lenghts. He had a bad tranny, and the rear end was going out. Just full exhaust. Nothing else. This lil civic guy is cocky. Says he will smoke any V8. He even denies losing to my brother. Should I embrass him? I have the faster of the two irocz's. Yeah, me and my brother each have white drop top iroc-z's. This lil civic has cam gears, vtec controller and full exhaust. His car sounded a lil weird. I think it has cams. So, what do you guys think??

X2. Cam gears allow to change the cam degree. Like a putting your SBC cam in advanced or retarded, you change the powerband up and down. He couldve changed cams too very easily on it tho. But it will sound different with them altered.

Re: my iroc vs a civic si
I found him and reved at his cocky *** He didn't wanna race. He said "for what". I said "so you can smoke my V8". He said "nah". Oh well. Maybe he was just afraid of my car. I mean it has a high flow cat and side exhaust with no mufflers. Loud as a **** and shoots flames at high rpms. I think I need to change this setup. I've been lucky it hasn't gotten me in trouble yet.

funny how the smallest engines come with the biggest mouths.
Re: my iroc vs a civic si
It literally feels like a gokart and that feeling brings confidence. My cousin has owned civics since he could drive and when his car use to be stock, thought it was the fastest thing on 4 wheels until he went up against his dads 4thgen V6 car. Made him look like he was standing still. He's smartened up since then and modded his car to the point of close 12 second passes. It's a nice machine but I'm just glad he's changed his attitude. Most honda guys out there still think their cars are fast even if they lose, the excuses just start flying...

Re: my iroc vs a civic si
oh man i couldnt agree more about how much the excuses come pouring out after a they get beat. i have a buddy who is the WORST person to race or talk "cars" with. he will make up the dumbest excuses ever when he gets beat by people, ANDDDD he will talk up a big game and NEVER line em up with me. NEVER!!!! it drives me nuts. oh and he drives a like an 01' toyota celica "APR edition" (just a wide body kit) 1.8 vvti bone stock lol. yeah it looks fancy but its a turd.
