I wonder what the guy told his kid in a BRAND NEW off the lot paper plated GT got waxed because he started something he couldnt finish. I though about it, after i seen him, i switched lanes in front of him and he got in it, i just went from 4th to 3rd and hit it, he had the move so he was 1 car ahead and then i blew by him.

I wonder if he:


1) Might have said "He prolly has 50K$ in that olad *** POS....

or maby:

2) Man those old IROCs run!(confusing a RS for a IROC happens all the time by the ingorant)


I was just thinking how funny this was wondering what the 13 year old or so passenger was thinking/saying..."Man, i want one of those...." or possibly "Holy crap that thing must have a billion HP to beat this new mustang...."


I dont know, but i wasnt going to mess with him being the older looking middle age guy with a kid. I just be he wasnt happy.

I just kept thinking about the possibilities of the conversation in the car after the straight pipe 383 blew his door off. I kept laughing, i couldnt help it...

sounds like something this 13 year old kid maybe has a strick dad that told him no racing or if he gets a ticket, he will pay for it out of his own pocket and will get it taken away from him....
something my dad told me and Im afraid to race, (course there isnt anyone to really race in this small town)

Now son I could have purchased and built 5 of those, but I enjoy a smooth ride, 25 mpg, all the luxuries, not to mention a warranty, and knowing I could throw a Ford installed blower on, stil retain those same luxuries, and probably run as fast as that car.

I hate being smoked by a junk box, but winning is winning at that point in time. I've got a friend thats got a 240sx w/ lots of motor w/ boost, next to no interior, stupid loud exhaust, crappy wiring with random switches for the power to the ecm, fuel pump, etc, no A/C, I don't even think the windows roll up. This car is annoy to ride in across town in, let alone as any every day thing. But I every time we line up, I know I'm gonna take a loss - and I can always appreciate a faster car.

 

Nothing wrong with a faster car, but to me it's only better if the owner built it not bought it. I have seen some insane cars out there, but when I find out they were bought, not built, it ruins it for me.

Kind of like back in High School. The kid whose dad got him a faster car, sure it's faster, but I bought and built mine, so lets not get too cocky about it.

 

LOL, yea, i have a 95 Z that will be running next year with a LS1, that will then be the daily driver for me. But for now, the 89 has heat/AC still, i love the ride and it is verry comfortable. As far as exhaust....how could i feel with a sports car and not hear it....it wouldnt feel like a sports car ya know? If i wanted quality ride and quiet i woulndt even looks to something that is suppost to be a muscle car. The stang was verry clean, has some stripes on it, but they sound great with magnaflow exhaust and no cats.
