Alright so my buddy just got a 2005 lancer oz rally sedan. and hes like dude my lancer could kick ur ***. and i dont see how its a 2.4 and it has 120 hp. correct me if im wrong yea its a lot lighter but i have a 3.1 and im at what 185 hp? who would win. and what would be the best way to start to give me the better chance dig 20mph roll or what?
let me know guys. im tired of hearing tons of **** at lunch everyday.

well i had asked him and there is actually 2 size engines and he said his is the 2.4. but i gotta get my car running 100% it takes a bit for mine to warm up. so idk. im def going from a dig. i think ill have him till 3rd gear. so prob have him till 45ish but idk ill let everyone know. it will probly go down this weekend. keep posting stuff to help me out tho. def wanna know because even if i loose i wont give up i wanna beat him he does talk a lot of crap.

 

He is dumb....OZ has a 2.0L (no upgrade engine) Ralliart has a 2.4L 162hp. Doesn't even know whats in his car!!

not to sure. probly next weekend. i just got me some new sparkplugs and wires because my car decieded to start missin on me. so hopfully that corrects the problem. by using premium gas would that help me at all?

 

no, id run 87 octane, a low compression engine would make more power on a lower octane fuel because the burn would be more complete
so go with 87

Should of got the 5 spd :P . 5 spd would help its lighter and if you can drive faster than your auto right now. I've raced a MK IV non Turbo Supra, kept up with him for a little bit and soon as i hit 60 i lost him. Both of us were 16s year olds. Now he turbo it and running at 18lbs of boost so now i'll never catch him lol

 

if you car is an auto magic put it into first gear and race him at a rollin 15 that puts u in ur power band and it puts him outa his thats about his shift point, i know that oz lancer like the back of my hand- my 87 sport coupe walks all over my buddys lancer
