wheelstands
i think im about to embark on a ground up restoration and i use the term restoration loosely.
does anyone have a car that does wheelstands?
what do i have to do? 4:10s, big slicks, subframe connectors, and alot of horsepower? or is there an easier way to reach my childish goal?

Re: wheelstands
Define wheelstands.
I have seen low 13 second cars launch and get the tires a few inches in the air. In order to actually "hang" the tires it will take a bit more power than that. My fathers car (not set up to hang the tires, set up to hook and go) has hung the front tires through first and into 2nd gear, but when we actually tweaked the suspension right, it didn't anymore and ran a couple tenths faster!
It's fun to do it once, but it hurts performance.
Also his only made 450 rwhp or so, but is fairly light, and not a thirdgen.
