Re: A LITTLE TIRE ROAST

I like the exhaust tone. What are you using for your exhaust to support the full 500HP?

My GTA has a 406 in it that will be making about 450 fwhp and I am trying to nail down what I can do without having to use duals.

Re: A LITTLE TIRE ROAST

Well, it is all hooker front to back, They are Super Comp shorty headers, hooker y-pipe to to hooker "aerodyne turbo muffler" out the back. In the video howerever it was the headers with a cherry bomb on each side. Like I say it was still inprogress when i made that little vid. You should hear it now though, it is flippin sweet!

Re: A LITTLE TIRE ROAST

You should make a sound clip of the current setup.

So you are now running a single larger catback system? What size?

Thanks!

Well it's 3'' al the way to the back but there is no cat. I'll get a new sound clip/vid maybe tomorrow and post up.

Yeah, but I prefer the pitbull stance though as opposed to the drag *** uphill look. Plus it helps keep the front tires on the ground.

well ....i guess i know nothing about drag racing and weight transfer...oh and center of gravity...

if you knew how to setup a drag suspension you could have that car on the rockers going down strip. look at a lot of cars here.....not high riding like a 50's/60's gasser...

lower control arm relocation brackets/adjustable tq arm/drag shock-struts/right tire selection/air bag in the right rear...i know im forgeting some little things but thats what friends of mine use as starting point and they are only into 11's with a sbc.....this year they went 4 link and back halfed

im just saying.....not being a jerk.....just my honest opioin based on what ive seen work

Yeah dude I know, and I've got it. I just like it. It's a street rod man, If I wanted to go pull 8's in it it would be a little differant. I know my look is not for everybody, but I like it, and so do alot of other people. Everywhere I go I get huge compliments, so stop being a hater man.
