When did you actually take the lead? I know at the end you were ahead, By how much? How long of a run was it, 1/8th? 1/4? other?

He had me in the 1/8th, i never went into fifth gear, so i had him by about a car in the quarter.

Went 8.0 in the 1/8th last friday, but that was wheel hopping with 2.0 sixty foot times, but...it traps 93 MPH, so it is making power. 4.30 gears with a 26 inch tall tire is 5th gear right before the 1/4 mark.

I went out there to build a trans mount because the Spohn unit sucked for exhaust routing, ended up running for the hell of it, otherwise, i have 26x11.5x16 ET streets that would have made that look BAD on the mustangs part.

Nice run. Your car sounds like an animal with those 4.30 gears. Looked like you freight trained the stang pretty good at the end there lol. What were the mods on the mustang? Seemed like a pretty healthy set up as well.

Yea, the little stroke on the 302 make them run OK, he has P heads and a E cam with all the bolt ons ect, 4.10 gears and a T5 trans.
