SC camaro vs Audi A4

A guy at my school as a 2001 A4 (1.8L 170hp 166 torque) hes done a lot of work on it. NEU speed cat back, rims, jacked down, etc nice looking but do ya think I could spank him. I have a 88 Sport Coupe 305 V8 TBI auto with flowmaster exhaust. any comments ?

yea I've heard they are pretty quick, like low 15's. you will need to mod that 305 with more than exhaust to be able to beat him.
race him anyway and see how you do, then mod till ya beat him

170hp/166ft/lbs VS 170 hp with 255 ft/lbs the answer is pretty much self explainatory if the weight is anywhere near close to each other.

sorry onefine8t9 but with an 1.8 litre engine it probably is a hell of a lot lighter

That and there is different drivetran power loss with front wheel drive. If you have an auto and he has a stick, he might have an even better edge since he will keep his engine in the powerband. If he's got an auto I think it's going to still win.

You should be able to take him early with your torque and be able to hold him off. Those Audi A4 1.8T's aren't very fast.
