My friends and I can't find anyone to race around here, so we're thinking of finding our own place and racing eachother, maybe the word will spread eventually. We were thinking maybe an industrial park or something. Kinda off the road so passerby's wont notice and not near anything residential so we don't wake people up. The only little bit of action I've heard of was over by the Westgate Mall in Brockton on Sunday nights. Anyone know of a good place to find some races?

EDIT: by south of boston I mean like the South Shore, like around Milton, Quincy, Canton, Randolph, Braintree, Dorchester, Hyde Park, Dedham, etc.

hmm every1s dream there . I'm from NH (manchester) and I can't seem to find anywhere as well. I could try elm street but thats for all the imports..and to many cops. My fahter said back in the day (early 60s) they were going to let people race there stock cars on an abandon part of the manchester airport (where all those little shacks are)but I guess they didn't..bastards. Have you thought about New England drag way? they have amateur classes. I'm thinking of going this summer. My buds go all the time. From what I've heard if some1 brought a modded 3rd gen they could own the class for the night.... depends what night I guess theres a 3rd gen camaro thats on nitrous that comes once in a while to show whos boss.

Hey Jay,

There is a new IROC in town. My friends brother just got an yellow '87 LB9 with t-tops, auto, power, all sorts of nice stuff. Best thing is he paid $1200. Lucky b*astard. Have you seen it yet. Oh, and doesn't Jeremy Hayes own that Red/silver one?

no, Jeremy sold it to Tom Finnerty, Jerry's driving around in the black 5.0 w/ I think TSW's... not the black Cobra though, I haven't figured out who owns that yet. The mustang jeremy has used to be some other kids, but he's driving the silver 5.0 w/ black stripes

Yeah i've seen the mustang with the stripes. Way tooo much if you asked me. My g/f saw it with me one day, and was like "what the hell did he do?" I was like, "honey, thats when stripes go bad". Why don't we round all these kids up and find a place to run? Be pretty cool we could tape it.

Let me tell you about brockton, I grew up there. Sunday nights are crazy. Everyone meets at the burger king on the west side by the high school, on a good night they'll be about 75 to 100 cars. You find a race there, then go to the mall to race. Everyone lines the highway to overlook, no b.s. Get there around nine, cops don't bother you till maybe eleven or twelve. There is some stiff compitition though, so be carefull. I'll be there the first two sundays in Aug, see ya there. Check out my pics in the readers ride section so you'll recognize me. Good luck.!!
