My car is in the sig. My friend has a 92/3 Geo storm GSI. Its no modded at all. He thinks hes all big and bad. Can i whoop his *** or what?

No no, I've been in his car and he says he did nothing to it but i think he jacked a turbo on it. He whipped a mustang(regualr one) I'm not i told him i would kill him, but he said alright to a race in a week. I dont know what he needs a week for....

btw one time i was in my girlfriends 74nova and some riced out ford focus started getting fart can happy at a red light, so i stood on the brake, stood on gas, filled focus FULL of smoke, that kid wanted to cry when i unleashed that beast on his *** .

 

fug it, put 150 shot on the camaro.

 

Well its not really can i beat him its how badly. If it was stock, i dont know if he did or not. I just wanted to make sure i wont descimate him to shut him up real good.

You're afraid of a Geo? What did those things come with? A 0.8L two cylinder or something . Even though your car is not exactly screaming, I would laugh long and hard if you lost to a Geo. Storm, Metro they are all the same.

BTW If he says he beat a 'Stang, it must have been an older 4-banger who wasn't even touching the gas.

Also don't strap a 150 shot of NOS on or you'll be hauling your blown block back in a wheel-barrow.

Last thing, what kind of perosn would waste all that $$$ on a turbo to put on a friggin GEO!!!

 

FYI, the Geo Storm shared underpinnings with the Isuzu Impulse. This car had an optional turbo motor, with suspension tuned/designed by Lotus. To convert a Geo to those engine specs is not hard. The only way your going to find out who is faster is to race. Win or lose, at least you'll know....

 

I had an Isuzu Stylus that had the same motor that the Geo Storm LSI had, 130 hp 1.6 liter, and it ran 16.30's. I've seen the import guys running mid 15's with these cars with no turbo's. Hope that helps.

Well I've raced him, it was fun. WE did 3 races. First was on a highway 33. WE both leveled out at 50 mph and gunned it. I killed him. He never caught up till the lane closed due to construsction Second was on lower main street. WE had a red light and I floored it. My tired chirped and then i was off and he was close in first gear but fell waay behind on second gear. Third was a race where he started ahead of me on a stright run but i caught up to him, but the road turned before i could pass him. You all seem pretty harsh to me, im new to this whole camaro thing, i just bought mine. It was a question of could i beat him or not, but thanks for the crit. I'll take it in good fun.

I wouldn't go around bragging you beat a Storm,or others will want to race you all the time.Unles it's a modded car, you had no worries.

 

I thought that you should kill him in first because the advantage of tq inless that chirp was a little bigger than just a chirp

 

You high? If you can't beat that storm it's gonna rain on you for the rest of your life. Let us know how it turns out.

a race is a race. If he wants some, give it to him. I'm glad you whipped him though, good job. Just remember any thing is possible today. A primed up old a## integra just might have turbo, and a shot of nitrous. It can, will, and does happen. My motto is , don;t back down to a race unless without a dought, you'll lose, such as a new corvette, viper, turbo ZX. If you win the race,great, if not, it just drives you to make yours faster. After you upgrade, you can usually hunt down the car that beat you, and spank him.
