Confused the crap out of me when I first swapped to the 4.10's and it was hitting the rev limiter before I even got to the traps until someone pointed out the fact that the converter was slipping

It's not moving at all at the current moment
but once the new crank, rods, and shortblock go in it and we get the tune down we're expecting it to be trapping in the high 1-teens on motor

A Maxima SE was trying me out on the Grand Central Parkway and I left him far far behind. The engine still had much more to offer but I was coming to a split in the highway. This is when I still had 308 gears. I don't know if I'll ever get up there again with my 373's.

Car: Only a daily driver, but comin home
Engine: I have one that runs ;)
Transmission: Caged hamster that runs really fast
Axle/Gears: They are round, I know that much
well, heres my story, i was on my way home from some street races on the southside of chicago, it was about 4 in the morn on my way on 90/94. i was cruisin when those new 350z(nissans), the turbo ones, pulled up next to me, some guy with his girl driving, and then took off after a bit of reving(so i knew it was stick), well not to be beaten by an import i took off too, right now my speedo and odometer dont work until i get the sensor from chevy. but we were flying, i caught up and started to pass, and we wnt about 5 miles before the nissan started to jolt, like it had hit its limiter, i get car and driver and i had the issue about the 350Z, i read its top sped is 156 drag limited, even tho the car backed off i was still going and had like 1200 rpm still to go, unless they shut down early, but i will never know until i have a new speedo, so i am guessing about 160+, just a guess tho

I just got my car less than two weeks ago and it had been driving me mad to know its limit. Found out today that the speed limiter limits at 110. What
. That was fifth gear at 3000 rpms. I need to get a chip to get rid of that problem.

Well since i got my chip from tbichips.com i have manage to peg and beyond the speedo, ruffly 120-125mph. Deffinantly a cool feeling in these cars because they are just incredibly stable. I actually let off because the car wanted to keep going and i was gettin kind a scared.
