I have two favorites.

One:
After putting on my headers I was driving to the exhaust place to get the y-pipe and cut-out fabbed up and installed so I drove about 20 mi w/ open headers. The guy and his g/f in a 5.0 pull up next to me and rev at me. I threw it into neutral and stomped on the gas, revving it to about 5k. The guy turned all pale and when the light changed, he turned off

Two:
On my way back to work from a job one day a stang pulls up next to me and the guy gives me "the look" and his car lurches forward. The light turns green and I jump out of the hole but don't accel real fast b/c I have to turn. I look in my mirror and the guy is still there, starting his car b/c he dropped the clutch and stalled

I have 2 anyway.

1. I lined up with this punk that was talking a lot of trash and thought his 1997 4.6 cobra was the cats *** . I had a toasted 700r4 and my car was bone stock and I smoked him when we were down racing. I got him everytime we raced from then on LMAO.

2. A couple of weeks ago I had a friend want to race his 86 GT auto against mine and If I got him I got him by just a bit. All I have to say is now his car has been switched to a standard and he put a new set of gears in. There is no way a stock 305 should be able to eat a 5.0 mustang.

 

umm... dood, something musta been bogus with his car, because a cobra.... well, all i can say is wow... one day me n a friend in a buick were having fun, this thing starts to go, i tRY TO go after it, nothing. that thing was flying, cobras im not ready for, nor with those bloody 5.0s....


Anyways. recaro Xfire, make this one you last, cause it is out of place, this should be in theoretical racing.

one time this Stang pulled up it was a 6, but it was some punk azs teen, backwards upside down visor, listening to rap, all that. i pipe once, drop in first gear, he slams his car as hard as possible, gives tires a squeak, but in the end, FBody Handling, hugs the road,

Last summer a friend and I had some fun with a Stang. This guy rolls in at our hangout with a 99 Cobra. You could hear the ATI before you saw the car. We would've ignored him except for his license plate. GMEATER. Big time red flag. The guy who owns the car was cool, but his buddy ran his mouth too much. Talking about sending the car out to have the motor built for the ProCharger, and how it dynoed at 600hp. I stepped up to the plate to see how it ran. I give him credit. The car is fast. I got out on him, hit the spray, and watched him pull two lengths on me after I hit 3rd. After the race he said he'd be back the next night. My friend has a heavily modded 93 Formula. 383, solid cam, th350, 9" rear w/ 4.10, 175 hp shot. He brings his car down looking for the Cobra. Everybody at the hangout knew how much quicker my friends car is compared to mine, but nobody said anything to the Cobra driver. He figured he'd have an easy kill because my friend and I set our cars up along the same lines. Right from the start the Cobra gets smoked. As my friend put it later, "he got beat by buslengths." The guy was a good sport about it, but he wasn't happy. In total they raced five times. The Cobra got spanked every time. He showed up last week, and wouldn't you know, he got rid of the vanity plate.

my favorite is from earlier this season. some dumb a$$ mid life crisis scmuck sat next to me in the lanes tlking all about how nice it was to get his brand new mustang for only $30,000. he talked about how fast it was and how much power it had. he looked at my car all taken apart(as usual) and said it is nice to not hafta spend a bunch of tiem working on a car when you can afford to go buy a fast one. well we lined up for the first pass of the session and i proceeded to smoke his *** by a couple car lengths. when we got back to the lanes he didn't have much to say and spent th erest of the day sitting in his car.

I have a whole bunch of stang kills with my TTA but this one happened with my 97 Tahoe. I was going home from work about 1AM and pulled up next to a new conv with the top down and we start playing around and he never pulls away from my truck. We get to the next light and both of us were ready, the light changes and I'm off a full car ahead of him and then he finally catches me and wins by a nose. Talk about getting your bubble busted by a big truck. He was busted.

With the TTA, so many mustangs sooo little time. Bring them on with nitrous, blowers or whatever.

Your not ready for it because you have an L03, your not ready for anything besides v6's and maybe a few v8 pickups. I beat my friends cobra by .981 Say hello to my .580 reaction time and my 2.16 60ft. 60ft wasn't all that great but I was so far ahead because of reaction time he got anxious and wanted to punch it and lost with like a 2.3 60ft. What a shame I put his **** talking *** to bed with a $5k car compared to his brand new, "daddy buy me this purty red one" $18k car. He just came back with a stupid face. Then he wanted to go again and I woop him on my reaction but he pull of a nice 60ft and beat me by like .081 and talked **** like a mother. Hrmm, if it were a street race I woulda tooken that pink slip and been like, thx, my Iroc will be very pleased with the new modded L98

Now that the cobra has a 5 speed he can get me but I am proud that my old boat anchor 305 did as well as it did. There is no 4.6 cobra that works near as good as the old 5.0's There is a huge difference in my old LO3 Camaro when you compare it to the 305 TPI in my 91. I make twice the power! The LO3 was a dog but it was reliable.

 

actually this happened about 8 months ago when my 85 Z still had its LG4 305 in it, and all it had was a flowmaster muffler, headers, hollowed cat, and open element aircleaner. this kid went to my school and was talking **** about me AND how slow my car is...big no no. he drives an 87 or 88 mustang GT, auto and flowmaster exhaust. since its load and is a v8, he thinks hes king of the road. on this day he had another thing coming. i pulled up next to him at a red light late one night. as soon as the light turned green i nailed and, spun the tires a bit, and took off. so did he but he failed to catch up and by the time i hit 85 he was about 1.5 carlengths back. we pulled up to another light. i have no idea what he was thinkning but when the light turned green he did a HUGE neutral drop and killed his tranny right there! me and my girlfriend who were both in the car were laughing our asses off at him! i proceeded to take off slowly and took the next right. OMG, that was the funniest thing ever!! o but he'll show me up (hehe) hes building up a 350 to put in his crustang!!! lol. some people never learn!

I was on my nightly return to Work for the week. When here comes along a pack of rustangs varying year fox and sn-95 bodies.Approx. 10 cars. The leader of the pack was a 4.6 cobra 1999-2001. On the highway he tried to prove he was top dog by giving me the look and lurching forward.I then drop gears and bark at him. I honestly gave him a head start to get his hopes up. His buddies where sitting back and spectated (like they had a choice). Then i drop to my favorite gear 4th and that was all she wrote.All they saw was my tail lights and struggling to keep up at 140.

Ok not out in my 3rd gen since its not done and keeps getting changed around but still a funny one, out in my 94 Z28 6 speed, uh oh !

turn on to a main street here on my way home from work at around 2:10 am, just after someone in a red 4.6 went by.. punched it real quick blew past him then slowed down....
after he gets beside me I see its some kid and his GF, hehe, so we punch it and i left him, poor kid, beat by an f body and in front of his girl to add salt to the wound.

 

Here's one just added. Just got home and couldn't wait to tell you guys. So I drop off my g/f (summer school, dumb brauds) and I think to myself well I'll just go for a cruise. Well I take the 2 mile drive out to 115th and Central where no cars were to be found. I saw a 93-97 T/A heading in the opposite direction but I was in no mood for a youie. So I proceed down Ridgeland heading north when I see this train, I says cool, this should give a chance for some fast cars to meet up with me. I move from the left to the right lane to move up closer (3 cars in left and 1 in right) and a nice 94-94 5.0 5spd was ahead of me (he was rolling back and forth). So I say cool, he looks young he will race. Well right before the gates go up he revs his car up. I say sweet **** and am ready at about 1500rpms in 1st. Gates go up and he takes off, I slow down because of train tracks and nail it. I go sideways. I catch up to him at like 5000rpms in 2nd so I put it in 3rd gear and we get even and I walked away easy. I was laughing so hard. The kid was about 20 and had a white mustang with 5spd and blue racing stripe down the middle. So I'm laughing and he gives me this hard look, I pop her into 2nd, she chirps and we take off again. He pulled about maybe a foot in 2nd when I hit 3rd he was playing catchup. I think the ram air I built was extremely useful. Either that or 2nd gear just isn't my gear in my car. This is the 2nd time at high speeds where I just seem to go faster, I raced a 89 G92 350 when I was stock with the free mods and ram air and were dead even until 70mph when I just pulled a 1/2 car ahead. Well, good game rustang.

I raced this old lady in a 87 ****stain. The funny thing is that she was like 80, but was talkin mad ****tle. I didnt wanna race her but then she said "Ill meet your *** on 270 Chump!" My old girl was in the car, and she was like "I know you aint gonna race that old lady?" But me being **** Dasturdlee, I had to do it. When we got on the freeway I put it down into drive and got out. I dont know how fast I was going because my speedo only goes to 85.
