I'm getting the slp 1 3/4 Headers within the month (they're on order) Will that be enough to take him or will i need cold air aswell... Is it true that if i were to put one of the slp cold air kits i wouldnt see much of a gain?

Okay, did you do the free mods. I can't stress this enough people! FREE MODS!! FREE MODS!! TB Bypass, Advance ignition, do all the **** I did and I beat a Z28 93-97 Auto w/catback. Your headers are god like and are a lot better than mine but his manual I think is whats gonna give him the advantage. At 20+mph when I'm riding at like 4000rpms in 1st I just take off. The auto has to shift down go at WOT and I'm in 2nd gear at WOT pulling on him. A shiftkit for the amount of money they are...would be one of the first mods I would do to a 700r4. They respond nice, my old RS chirped 2nd. And I remember my friends stock 89 Iroc-Z with shift kit, he used to shift from 1st to 2nd and shake dat *** . Do the free mods, get the headers, nice tuneup, and shiftkit and I say you. Otherwise, gg he takes you = /
