The other night, I was at a local "gathering" of cars at an industrial area and an Audi TT showed up.

Now, I know that the TT's aren't that fast, but I'm just curious if anyone's raced them or just how fast they might be puttin up, because of the AWD launch..

I'm very certain that I could've taken him, but I thought that I learn more about it before doing anything, because I wouldn't mind racing him for some $$$..

I've got a 92 Z28 L98... with aftermarket heads, ZZ4 cam, headers, 5 spd, etc..etc... I haven't timed my car, but on street (BFG Radials), I can take out a 2001 Mustang GT by the end of 1st gear (he's in my side view mirror after the 1-2 shift)..

It'll be the easiest money you'll ever make. Those cars are slow. I remember reading they were 16.1 if I remeber right. You will kill him so bad its not even funny. Looking at your mods you should be running at least a mid 13 and low 13 with a good launch.

 

thanks for the reply... I knew that they weren't exactly "fast" cars, but just didn't know much more than that. I figure the driver's gotta be one of those rich kids who might feel ****y enough to put some money on the line..
