If that preludes a vtec you should be a little careful. A vtec in that year makes like 190 to 195 horses. I know your camaro probably has more but his car is lighter. I totally think you will take him, but if he's spraying. WATCH OUT!

I noticed that you live about 300 miles from me...which track do you go to? Maybe if it's not too far, we can arrange a friendly race between the two of us...my 2.0 against your good ol' V8!

You'll need to add a cat-back exhaust to your K&N filter so that your V8 will have equivalent mods to my four-banger. Let me know which track you go to, and if it's not crazy far away, maybe we can run?

Yeah, but Honda Preludes with an "easy shifter" have a better impression ratio than us.

"just make sure its not wet out man. check out my post about damn Type-R's"

I'm pretty certain that my peg-leg fwd would be more likely to spin the tires in the rain...I don't think that the track would be open if it were raining, anyway, eh?

I'm serious about this...if the track you go to is close enough, and you're up for it...

this isnt going to be at a track, we gotta find an abandoned stripway or something, im not racing in traffic or on highways yet. and this kid is an idiot, i know him, hes just watched fast and the furious and doesnt really know what NOS is or does, hell just tape the bottle in his trunk. and this bull**** about working on the engine, he wont do it, i guarantee it, he'll just rice it out and get a huge *** spoiler and keep talking **** no matter how many times hes lost

lmao, preludes from 87 have 140 horsepower, i know, i love them, know them, and sleep with them. no they used to be my dream car for a daily driver in my freshman year cuz they were affordable and semi-fast.

Yeah, but this guy is talking about one from 95. Their lowest amount of horsepower is 135, then 165, then 195 with the vtec I think....So watch out for the vtec!

I wouldn't worry about beating the prelude I've beaten one before in my old (RIP)87' sport coupe 305 with very minor mods(headers/no mufflers/K&N filter/shift kit)

Well... The "rice" topic again... Well he may have a 95? V-tec but If he has a stage 2 turbo kit... Watch the Fu.k out. hell run ya... I t seems like this guy is just talking trash but have no quams with a guy that actually does the work to the car, then be astonished when he pulls away. Those V-tecs can handle 300HP (turbo w NOS) on a primarily stock motor. These motors were made to run have no doubt about it.
Now it depends on the car(camaro) as well. If its a 305 TBI sorry my 3.1 can beat one even if it has headers. I've done many a time in town. I would bet on the V-tec as well against the TBI motor. They are really weak motors.

Oh yeah? Your 3.1 can beat a L03? I don't think so, not stock to stock in comparison. I ran a 15.7 in my L03 Formula when it was stock, and to me that isn't a weak motor. I can guarantee that your 3.1 (if it's an F-body) will not run a 15.7 1/4. 3.1s run 17s and 18s, and no older 6-banger has ever beat me before.

Hmm, if the L03 has a dead cylinder, you could probably take it. But then again most of the L03s have been treated bad, and probably are already missing a cylinder anyway.

Well, homeboy has a 5.7 and I'm assuming its in good tune.

FYI, stock 95 VTEC preludes are good for mid to low 15's with a manual.

I understand that, but Mr. Camaro_Hunter_d thinks his 3.1 will beat a L03...and I said that only if there were a dead cylinder and 4 people in the car.

That's if his 3.1 is stock. I know dyeinbreed has a better motor than that.

I really should have directed my last post at Camaro_Hunter_d.

today was one hell of a day, heres a quote for u guys, that freaked me out, dont know about you;

"in the city of g o d (NYC.......big buildings.....looks like g o d built it) there will be a great thunder(the crash) Two brothers
Location: (the towers) torn apart by Chaos, while the fortress endures(4th plane doesnt make it to the white house, white house still stands), the great leader will succumb(we will give in)" "The THIRD WAR will begin when THE BIG CITY IS BURNING-Nostradamus 1654

well back to third gens, this kid has his sisters prelude, and i doubt his sister gave a rats behind whether she got vtec, turbo, or nos, its just a stock 95 prelude, NOTHING else to it, i will keep you updated, lets keep this post HOT ladies and gents, these -->stock ricers<-- ( not the cool import guys ) that think theyre bad **** must be publicly humiliated

That racetrack is 330 miles away from me. I was hoping that perhaps it was somewhere in the middle between your town and mine. Ah well, too far for me to drive...my closest track is 70 miles, I'd rather not drive all the extra distance.

I just thought you might want to test out the theory that a good 'ol V8 would always beat an import with identical mods...I saw your brother's Nova linked to your webpage, and that would've been a fun car to run, too!

It's all good...if gas prices decide to go up because of the terrorist attacks in NY and D.C., I won't be doing much racing, anyway.
