I was just flipping through the channels and I saw something very disturbing, on one of the ESPN channels, there were hundreds of Honda civics and acura integras speeding around a track all with ridiculous spoilers and stickers all over... given they probably have some engine mods, but has it really come to this? We should ban movies like The Fast and the Furious... it's just bad for society...

 

I ahve grown to ahte Civics with a passion. This kid in my class just got a new civic EX and the only thing he did is put on those ridiculously expensive 19" wheels and a gay *** spoiler. (Tiny little factory brakes shining through) Its still slow as ****, but I was standing outside the weight room and he pulled up and all the freshmen go "Nice car man, thats fast as hell". I just laughed and went back inside before I remolded some freshman's face for being so dumb

Anyways these damn imports are taking over. I just can't understand how any teenage guy can resist the roar of a nice v-8 under the hood?

 

Because it's what's cool these days, and girls like guys with cars like that, they think it means they have money. I don't care what a girl thinks though can't beat a V8.

I agree with most of you..... right now as i type there is a blue civic 2dr sitting outside near where my car is parked......
It has all the yellow stickers in the world, in and around all of the car.... it is blue but has yellow accents, like the seats are yellow and blue, the dash is yellow and blue, ugly 19 in rims, big 4 in exhaust.... etc!!!

I'm not one to bash other people's cars, but I feel licensed to laugh at some ideas though... have any of you seen a tractor race? I just can't get used to the idea of slow motion races, why don't we just leave the racing to fast cars?

I posted this topic more as an observation of the pop culture which has engulfed the import crowd... how many "ricers" do you think are over the age of 25?

Lately I developed a very interesting past-time. Many of you will call me crazy but anyways... Whenever I'm on the highway and see some scrawny white boy in a riced out Civic/Accord/Prelude blasting rap, I get well behind him, then I floor it and as I pass him I cut him off a foot away from his car and give him the finger as hes watching my taillights and trying helplessly to catch up to me...

Another thing I tried last night is going REAL slow in front of these ricers. I'm talking take off in a one lane road at 5mph and keep going like that. Eventually they start highbeaming and honking and when you hear the dangerously high fart pipe pitch behind you, you know he's going to try to pass. Thats when you jam the gas and leave him in the dust Me and the girl I was chilling with were laughing for a long time at that one...

Anywasy thsi will prolly get locked soon but its fun embarassing ricers ont eh street.

Import cars generally don't bother me if the owner keeps them stock, and realizes that a 'civic' gets you from point 'a' to point 'b'. I wouldn't mind having a little car for a college car, but I wouldn't mod it and I will always have a v8 rear wheel drive car in my garage.

maybe we should just make rules for ricers....like no fart pipe until you can run 14s. or something that would keep them down.

lol, another funny story was some kid was talking about his "hooked up" integra...he was like "yo, i can almost peel out now"... yea of course its different on front wheel drive cars, but i've peeled out in my sister's lumina...

LOL I could peel out in my Civic Wagon when I had it and it had 210k miles on it. Almost any car can peel out... Some people just don't understand how cars work...

 

man the import scene herre in phoenix is sooo horrible. i wanted to slap this b%tch when i walked out of fast and the furious and she turned to her boyfriend and said,"see you should sell your nova and buy a nice eclipse or supra" what a dumba$$! but i love when im chillin in front of the theatre and when a ***** is revving the crap out of the fart can, a harley or rear drive v8 comes up revs it to about 2K and everyone cheers. i like alot of imports, esspecially nissan Z's( being a former owner of a 77 280z) but man get rid of the double spoiler and 5" bumble bee can!
