got to see the difference my new engine made...

I noticed a decent condition thirdgen Z28 ahead so i pull up beside him, give him a nod and we get a redlight together. I ask him what it's got.
it was an 83 305 M5. I said cool, mines an 82.. similar years.
the light turns green and we roll out, he punches it, wanting to race, but i didn't have the heart to smoke him so i just gave it a bit of throttle and pulled a car and half ahead and let off. but to think, his car is very similar in performance of what my 305 was. what a difference! he was all out and I didn't even have to rev above 2500 rpm!

makes ya feel like you accomplished something, when you can transform a car like that.

anyway i'm rambling, sorry about the wasted post

hey I am thinking of getting your same cam for my 350HO i am putting in. do you like the cam? describe it's characteristics if you could? lopey, bad idle, good idle, etc. thanks
