New Guy

I'm new on the board here and just noticed this forum. It looks like I have a new home because street racing is what I love to do. It's like my other personality comes out after 10:00pm. Anyways, I just had a question for you guys. I was heading to a race last weekend in the Nova, and when I pulled to a light an integra threw a rev at me. I know my car appears very stock (that was the idea), but if you know you *** from a hole in the ground, you would stay away from it in a stock acura. Do you guys get this type of thing often, cause this is a first for me. I suppose I don't know the first thing about imports, so how can I expect him to know anything about domestics. Oh well, I wish I was in the bird so I could justify wasting the gas.

Welcome aboard,
Why do you think the majority of people, I would say all, but we do have a couple import lovers on this board, don't like imports, because most of the driver's are idiots. We get it all the time, Hondas, Integra's and even Neon's reving their engines at us. And my *** , with that Nova, I would have loved to see that race, the Integra would have learned a lesson.

Welcome aboard. Man that Nova sounds BAD. How do you like that 427 Motown? It looks like a great engine.

Welcome!
Those imports do that to me all the time. I'm not going to talk bad about them because I'd do the same thing if a Viper pulled up next to me. I know I have no chance of winning, but its still fun to try. Most of our cars are like a Viper compared to their's...you get the picture. I'd like to see some pics of the Nova. Sounds pretty mean!

**** I see ppl in civis DX reving there engines at everyone all the time.

I admit some are fast but most are not even worth the time.

but hell I do it in my import also so I guess I will shut up now . damned funniest thing when I pull up next to a camaro SS or c5 and rev at him. like I really stand a chance.... yet.

but I just love to run (or atleast try) with cars I love. just to have a little fun

It is the perfect setup, low ten's on the motor, and 8's on juice.

Brad,

Welcome aboard. I get it all of the time. People in Isuzu Troopers, my uncle in his Toyota Echo, ding dongs in their imports and so on.

I have to say I usually give them what they want.

So far I have only had one challenge which I took serious, and it was a 3rd TA.
