Dont you hate it when...

Have you ever raced someone or played around on the highway to be flipped off, or talked junk too? I hate that some people do not have the decency to just play around(win or lose) and not get an attitude. My friend was racing a 96(I think ) Cobra and the guy pulled into an apartment complex with a lot of Mustangs in it. My friend pulled in behind him thinking he just wanted to talk, but the guy got out and punched my friends hood, putting a nice dent in it. But what could my friend do, this guy was huge and all his friends were with him. All I am trying to say is CANT WE ALL JUST GET ALONG :-)

I agree with you, and the sad thing is most of the people I see do that ARE mustang owners too. Some people will never grow up and face losing.

There was another post about this topic I read a couple of days ago. A dumb @$$ guy in a rice burner poored sugar into his gas tank. The both of them are sore losers.

Overall, I have seen more Mustang owners too, but that is not to say it can't be someone driving any kind of car. My friend who has a 5.0 wont even pull over to talk to other Mustang guys like he used to because he said they are mostly ****** with a few mods who thinks they have the fastest thing around. Glad to see others agree. :-)

I agree with that. I am also hesitant to talk to other Mustang owners because of what I see from some of them. I'll either get a bunch of BS (One kid with a V6 with a "stage 3 turbo) or they will have a *** -like attitude and think their model Mustang is the best ever.

Don't get me wrong, I have met and talked to a few nice Mustang owners out there. In the Northeast Forum on www.corral.net, we have aranged meets from time to time and those are a blast. These people are enthusiasts

Then we get the crowd I like to car "Image seekers" Those are the guys that know little about their cars, bought them for the image, and think they are the ****, and don't have any sort of passion for the car, the following (meeting other owners, coming to message boards) or really want anything to do with the whole expeirence of owning the Mustang.

I agree with this statement. And it happens to more than just Mustang owners. There are people with all sorts of cars that do this. Some are cool to talk to, others are punks. I've talked to a V6 Mustang owner who thought he could beat any car on the street (honestly), but I also have a friend with a 5.0 Mustang that is one on of the cool people to talk to.
