I've never heard of a Javelin besides the kind you throw, but I would think your setup compared to a stock 390 could take it, and given the mods you list. Unless 390s came stock pushing serious HP.

This kid at my school had a Javilin I think it was around the same year as you are talking about. Anyways he thought it was real bad *** untill he raced me I later found out that he ran a 17.5 at the track. His car was stock and the only thing he did to it was strip the interior, and get rid of all the excess weight.

The Javelin is made by American Motors, the SST can't be pushing that much power stock i've beatin high 13 second cars so i figure i gotta be runnin mid 13s, most of the stock muscle cars didn't run (excluding the super beasts such as the hemi's, Baldwin Camaro, and other monsters).

Yeah, don't underestimate what he's got there. I almost bought one myself. Watch out, somebody could've put in an AMX 390 in it. That thing will haul ***** if it does. If I remeber correctly, all of AMC's motors got stronger in 70, especially the 390, so just watch out and have a good race.
