YES!! now i have hope. i new my car can run like mid 13's from what people have told me but I just need some reassurance. It's just that I hate this kid and it's pressure to beat him.

to be truthful i don't see you getting out of the 14's without slicks. Most of the people in my car club with lt1's are running 14.2-14.4 with free mods and exhaust, sure your HPP3 may be good for a tenth or 2 but youre at a 14.0
it will be a good race and if you can get a launch and he doesn't then you can get him. i have to say its gonna come down to who launches the best.

Race him from a pretty good roll. He'll run out of steam with those 4.10s if you go up to high speed.

You will wipe him, my 1994 Trans Am GT ran 14.3's all day. Only mods were air foil, K&N FIPK, and a Dynomax muffler. Formulas are lighter too.

The damn 2.73. How much faster are the other gears in the formula?

I agree, whoever gets the best launch will win and judging from your friends ET it sounds like he's not getting a very good launch so I like your chances.
