Could my RS win?

The only cars at school worth racing are a 1993 z28 (with plenty of miles), 1984 monte carlo ss (supposedly bored over 305), my brothers 1984 944 and a couple fourth gen RS's. I feel like I could smoke the richer kids older BMW's/Jag's and stuff but how about the other guys?

additional information: My motor is stock, my only performance mods at the moment are my cold air intake and exhaust system (more detailed in my signature)

Re: Could my RS win?

Well you have the slowest v8 for that year with the worst rear ratio you could ask for. I would guess you are in the 16.8 range for a 1/4 with 0-60 in the 8.5 range.

the 944 would probably edge you out in the 1/4

the 93 LT1 would mot likely rape you

Not sure about the MC

My guess is most BMWs and most imports 2000 or newer with a v6 would smoke you

Re: Could my RS win?

Idk man the porsche is my brothers and its surprisingly slow (its got a 2.5 liter), I can see losing to the z28 or the monte carlo but not like a 80's 325i or a janked out civic. No ones really into imports at my school most everyone drives a beater or like a 2012 model somethin theyre parents bought them.

The 1984 944 2.5 ran a 16.5 factory making it just a hair faster than the 91 rs

Re: Could my RS win?

the 93z should have no problem waxing your car lol. unless he has drivability issues with the car that are associated with the high miles you say he has. but that one should be common sense. it has several things going for it.
