This was my first "street racing" experience, unfortunately, not too many after that.

I was coming home from work one night and had just passed by Atlanta Motor Speedway when I came up to red light and was side by side with a Lincoln LS that had ghetto chrome rims and a primered body kit on it (car was still the factory green). Well, before I got to the light a car came flying up and attempted to get in front of me to be first at the light but I was already close to the Lincoln...anyway, I'm the guy most of you all probably hate...I like to floor it from just about every stop I'm at...I love the torque..forgive me. Well I got ahead of the Lincoln when it started to pull. What followed was hilarious. The car that tried to get in front of me whipped around the Lincoln and did a flyby. My car still had the stock 3.23's so at 65 I shifted down to 3rd and floored it, I passed by him so fast I couldn't make out the body at all, only the head lights. I shut it down at 100 and just costed into town to the next light. The car pulled up beside me, it was a white civic with a blue monster logo on the rear quarter panel. The driver let his window down and started to ogle my car and asked me "Is it an IROC?" and "What all do you have done to your motor?"...my answer was," No, it's a stock Z28 with a 350. Wanna go again?" He then let his window up and abruptly turned in to the right turn lane. Sorry if it was long winded.

 

I love it when civic owners are shocked your motors all stock.
