Finally got in a good race today. I was at this intersection down the street from where I live coming home from work. The road has three lanes but turns to two right after the intersection. People always go in the third lane to cut off the people in the second lane. So I am sitting in the second lane when the Celica pulls up in the third. After he pulls up the Malibu pulls up in the first lane. The riced out Celica revs at me. The guy in the malibu heard that and reved his too. Who was I to disagree so I did the same. When the light turned green me and the malibu left some tracks and the celica was farting away. We completely raped the celica so it was down to me and the malibu. We were pretty much dead even at the beginning but he slowly pulled away but not much. We both shut off at 70 and met up at the next light. He said nice car to me and I said the same to him. I asked him where the ***** was and he said trying to find his way out of the smoke He asked if I wanted to go again but I said no since I was going to turn off at the next street. I thought it was a cool race even if he beat me. He was a nice guy and we both beat up on a ***** who thought he could take a V8

My car is bone stock. I just bought it a few weeks ago. The air filter needs replacing so I am going to bulid a CAI this weekend. I thought it was an awesome race. That Malibu had the cut flows and the holley carb. It sounded good Plan to do some modding as soon as I regain my money reserves.
