I've got a long road ahead of me, but I just bought this car. This is the forum to be at! I know I want it to be a track car, It has the 350 in it right now. Any tips/tricks to help me on my way?

Tell us a little bit about what you have there, and how you want to use it.

 

Its a 1984 Camaro Z28 and I have a poly IROC-Z body kit not installed yet. I want it to be a track car. It needs the wiring harness installed and I'm not quite sure how to do that so I'll need some help with that. It's missing a little bit from the engine bay but I have all the parts. I just want to know any tips or anything on fixing it up to my liking.

 

One generic tip I have is that you'll need SAE and Metric flavors of every tool because GM was determined to use every possible fastener that existed at the time on these cars.

 

By track car you mean road coarse?

We still don't know what is your liking. That could be anywhere from stock to non street legal tube chassis where the car is a Camaro only in name.
