Morning everyone, just wanted to share a race that happened last night.

Last night I as well as some buddies all had a band performance at our local college. The collage rests on a straight that only has a few stop lights towards the end of it. Now as we are all leaving our performance we decide to meet up at Applebees I opted to drive by myself. As we leave the college I do a little peel out around the turn and get about half a mile down the road when I see familiar headlights in my mirror, I assume its my buddy in his 96 camry so I slow down but low and behold its not my buddy. It turns out its one of our fellow performers, now this guy drives a 90s beamer I cant say for certain what model but its def 90s. This guy is knows for talking the talk but I wanted to see if he could walk the walk, He lines up next to me and we are rolling at about 35mph I look over its him and his girlfriend in the car. He guns it and gets me at first so I throw the car into second and floor it. the 305 walks past him at 6k rpms then goes into 3rd I slow down and we switch lanes he tries again and no dice this time either. This time I ride 3rd until about 5500 and let off as I really would like not to alert every officer within 2 blocks of me. I head home and that concludes my night. Have not done much for the car just a new carb and exhaust work but no serious engine modifications to my car. it was a good time and I am glad to say that the car I was conceived in still has a little go left in her

 

The stigma these cars have is definitely deserved.
