can my s10 handle it?

I've got a line on a camaro 480 miles away, the only thing i have to tow with is my 4 cyl '91 s10 5spd. the camaro has no engine so it's not that heavy and i think if i take it easy i could pull it back. what do you think?

It should make it just fine. I had a friend with an S10 the same as my old one, he towed a large uhaul trailer full of junk from AZ to CO well over 800 miles with no problems, I think your S10 can hadle it.

I had a 90 S-10 4cyl 5-speed and pulled stuff all over, just don't fry the clutch.

A couple of questions. Are you talking towing it on a trailer or flat towing it? If you are flat towing it is a possiblitity just as long as no emergencies come up. If you have to stop in a hurry that camaro will be pushing the S-10 everywhere.
I have watched my dad haul a a trailer with about 3 tons of dirt in it with a 4 cyl Ranger. Wouldnt really recommend it though. We only went about 5 miles and never broke 30 miles an hour.
So it is something that can be done just really recommend it.
Oh yeah if you are flat towing it pull out the driveshaft on an automatic. If you leave it in you will damage your transmission.

Oh yeah S10s will handle that. I hauled a old Ram Charger 360 with a little car trailer thing. You know the one where its just the front wheels on it.I hauled it to my buddies place from the next province over. For you americans thats can be like going over 2-3 states in distance. I had the 4.3L CPI(not TBI) though like a 100 HP diff and 100 ft/lbs of torque. Never the less it will do it.
