I have to share this...

I was riding around in my 1988 Calais since my Formula was in the shop, not really thinking about a race when a mustang flies by me on a road where I always race. I didn't want to race but I catch up to him and it was a lowered 1996 Mustang (6 cyl) lowered with clear tail lights and dual exhaust (that actually sounded good). Well, he starts easing up at the light so I do the same. We both launch decent but we were both taking a left onto another road so we had to let off a little. When he got next to me ( I was in the inside lane) we both nail it and I pulled about a 1/2 a car length (even though he had a slight jump) and then we stayed next to each other until I hit 3rd and I pull aonther 1/2 car length. I slow down at about 85 and he flies by me and continues to speed up for some reason until he comes up to a curve where he has to slam on his brakes.
I just thought everyone would enjoy this story. BTW I had a passenger and he was by himself. I wonder what he was thinking getting beat by a 4 cyl Oldsmobile....
