I didn't pull on anything worth while or anything, but there is the guy at work who has been running his damn mouth about how slow my car is and how fast his car was. I have a 91 L03 Bird (see sig), and he has a late 90's Eclipse GT. He was even bragging out it before he even got it back from who know's where?, so I kinda wasn't sure what he may have had done to it. He's one of those guys who puts in a K&N and some splitfire plugs and brags that its "modified", I'm sure we all know at least one of those guys. So tonight I got sick of hearing his mouth so we lined them up after work. I even let him count down to GO cause I didn't wanna hear any excuses. Well he pulled ahead of me till about 10mph, lol, cause he got the jump, then I caught up and started to just walk away from him. At about 80mph I had about 5 cars on him so I decided to brake down and make a U turn to head home and then he had the nerve to yell out the window at me saying that I quit. I wonder how many more car lenths he wants to consider himself whipped? I'll ask him at work on Thursday after I rub it in his face, lol.

good kill, i hate people who run their mouth about their car and don't know enough to be able to back it up. just cause you ad stickers and trashy stuff from the auto parts store doesn't make it faster

I forgot to mention that he has a manual too. I wasn't even really interested in racing him, I just wanted to make him shut up. I know that he'll have an exuse when I see him on Thursday. I'll keep ya posted on what kind of line he pitches me.

You had 5 car lengths on him and he said you quit, he's the one that should have quit. Of course he'll make an excuse. He probably need a couple of stickers to boost him past you.

Well I finally talked to "Big Mouth" today. Just as I thought, he had an excuse, two of them in fact. First he said that he stopped for a second when we launched for some reason, and two, he said that he didn't have any oil in his engine, lol. I asked him if he wanted to come up with a third excuse or was he happy with just two. But now he wants to race again for money, but I think I might pass on that one. Thats how people get hustled. For all I know, he might be putting nitrous on it or something. Maybe I'll just wait about 3-4 weeks when I get my 350 dropped in and give him a real run for his money.

Dude ask to check out each others cars before u race. U know u can beat him with the engine u have now, race again and get something for it this time.

Thats what I was thinking about doing. I probably will do that. Maybe if he wants to get his A** beat on a regular basis, I'll pay for the rest of my mods with his money, lol.
