2002 ZL1 CAMARO vs COBRA

Has anyone else seen the 2002 ZL1? They will be making 69 of them and they will have the LS6 power plant. There is a lot of talk about them on CamaroZ28.com with pictures. Could this defang the S/C Cobra?

I say flip a coin...that is gonna be a great race. Arent the ZL1's getting just over 400 hp tho. Id say in stock form the edge has to go to the ZL1 tho. and who knows, if ford rated the cobra at 390hp it might actually be around 250 at the wheels j/k

If it has 400hp, 4:10 gears and says Camaro on it you could call what ever you want to but I d still take one.

What? I suppose a fuel injected LT1 shouldn't be called an LT1 then?

Afterall it's obviously infringing on it's forebearers namesake from 1970.

I think as long as they put the ZL1 badge on some
seriously powerful Camaro (and not Chev Pinstripe specail) then it's okay.

Yes, I think the "new" ZL1 will edge out the s/c Cobra
