Which Car Would You Build?

dont know which section would be best but this one seems like it anyhow heres my situation i have my 80' formula i've been building its all setup and ready to rock now and the new engine is up at the shop and i should get it back this weekend, but last friday i got an offer i couldnt refuse on a 77' camaro and i picked it up. heres the delema, i want to eather A) make the camaro into the new drag car and make the formula the daily driver, what i would have to do is put my extra 3.08 posi axle in the formula, swap the better axle in the formula to the camaro, also put my old 301 into formula and make that my new daily driver and put the new engine im having built in the camaro, i'd also have to swap gas tanks and do some other small things, alo the camaro is a bit lighter and does not have t-tops which means stronger body. or B) sell the camaro and use the money to get even better parts for the formula, right now i have someone interested in buy the 301 engine and 3.08 posi axle, also selling the camaro i could probley get 1-1,500$ i really dont know what to do, what would you do?

I'd get rid of the camaro and put all efforts towards the T/A as a strip/daily driver car. it's allready looking pretty bad A$$ ! maybee I'm just biased....

I don't know much about racing, but I say keep the T/A the way it is. It looks great, so why risk it racing. The Camaro on the other hand doesnt look as nice. If that is in fact true, you can rip out what you don't need to lower the weight if you race the Camaro.

But whatever your plans are is cool with me.
They would both be great to have.

the firebird looks hot, why ruin a great car by putting a 301 in it, that camaro looks like beat, use the camaro as a daily driver

I still havent gotten a close look at the camaro yet (maybe today) but Id say stick to the original plan. The formula has a lot of work into it, and its ready to haul some @ss. Id say toss the 301 in the camaro and use it as a daily driver/parts getter. The formula shouldnt be too hard to drive on the street, but you'd definelty want something else to drive. Put a hitch on the bastard and tow the formula around. You'd probably have to floor it from a stop to get moving, but that would be cool as hell.
