Schooled some civics
Schooled some civics
Was going to class at George Mason (college) and when ariving at the campus i noticed a line of civics parked at the very end of the campus parking lot, there was like 5, all of them were loaded with stickers, a tacky color scheme (orange and green, yellow and blue etc), and a fart exhaust. I had some time to kill untill class started so i drove past them slowly, tapping on the gas which let out a rumble form the Hooker, all of the ***** boys were staring and one of them shouted out "lets see what u got", i smiled an peeled out and infront of them, leaving a big cloud of smoke which gave the ***** boys the sence of a big dawg on campus. I returned and they wanted to check out my ride. I think i may have convinced a ***** to "cross over" cause one of these boys asked alot of questions about my thirdgen and was looking to buy another used car and was really intersted in a thirdgen firebird. It feels good when u convert a ***** into a believer of the thirdgen
Its good that they actually accepted you, pull thats **** around here hell even race them and beat them by a half a mile and they just say **** you and say there car is better or gets better gas milage and make up excuses. Of course this is high schoolers im talking about and my college friends are definitely more mature

. i to am in high school and know exactly what you are talking about. Hey now my 2.8 is always tuned and ready for action, plus my mods in my signature. U can have a really good 2.8 beat a untuned and sluggish V8, it is possible. I can chirp the tires easily in my bird, dont know about the other 2.8's

come on andrew ... i definitely cant match an iroc...unless its misfiring in 2 cylinders lol
but what i meant was not everyone who owns a v8 takes much care of it as u or any other person on the board... the ppl with v8s here where i live just abuse it...
and i went 16.3@90mph in 1/4 without the cam and porting ive done now ....the speed i dont remember right...
i do have some serious stuff though....

Not all of the Honda guys in Fairfax are idiot ricers. I used to AutoCross with some CRX guys from a group called 'Club S.I.' They invited me to a BBQ they were having at Burke Lake, so I decided to go with them. We pulled in to the parking lot in full race trim, complete to numbers. There were mostly Hondas/Acuras with a sprinkling of other makes, but my T/A was the only american car in sight. (The only V8, too) I was parked with my CRX buddies from the SCCA, so I had allies around.
When I popped the hood, people stopped and gathered around. Compared to some of the chromed and carboned V-Tecs, the TPI looked pretty ugly, but like a B-52 in an airport full of Lear Jets, it looked big, bad, and like something you would mess with on penalty of mass destruction.
A lot of these guys are true car guys who got in to Hondas 'cause that's what they had. If they're the baggy pants / backwards hat types, they are probably just in it for the image. If they look like gearheads, go talk to them, they'll probably appreciate any and all cars.
Last I'd seen, one of these guys was working on a mid-engined CRX, so look out for him.......

dude TTA's go 13's with a v6 and a blower...usually TTAs run like 18psi
so its not impossible to go 13's but the only thing is how far am i gonna push this engine...
yeah ill give u new numbers as soon as i run it again ...

TTA's also have 3.8L's of displacement and are built for it.
