went to the track last night to get some better numbers out of my cars. i drove the Vette, and my roommate drove the Z. There was hardly anyone there when we arrived, so we got our first runs in about 10 minutes. my roommate got a 2.4 60ft and manually shifted the car at 4500rpms for a 16.7 at 84 mph. he then informed me that his foot was never on the floor! apparently, the floormat was holding him back. so we took it out and he tried again. this time he got a 16.2 at 85mph with another 2.4 60ft. we would have gotten 2 more runs in, but it started to snow (in April?), so they closed the track down. now, ive always heard from alot of members that a stock LG4 with auto AT BEST should be in the high 16s. well, i think that if we got our 60fts down into the 2.2 range my Z could hit high 15s, totally stock. anyone else have equally impressive numbers?
