I am running a 92 RS with a 305 V-8 standard. Only have K&N filters. I was running agaisnt a 98 Eclipse. The first time we raced on this back road he was keeping up with me but i surpassed him in the end. The second time my tires spun and he got away from me so i lost but just by a little bit. I didnt consider his car rice. He had the Borla muffler but it sounded ok ya know. He had a V-6 stock dont know if it was auto or not. But I had fun we were both cool about winning and losing.

 

i didnt think they had V6s until the body change in 2000-2001. until then they were either turbo 4s or N/A 4s. i raced a N/A 4cyl at the track a few months ago, and he ran a 17.8 to my 13.6. it was cool because he came up to me after we got in line again and asked me if i was supercharged

 

Had a close call against one when I had the 403 stock in the 83 cadillac, 3.42, 350 th. I nailed him off the line and let off slightly. Then he flies up side by side with me and I dropped it to the floor. I managed to hold him at my front fender. Never should have let off. But in an 83 coupe deville sitting on pretty big 15s, I couldn't see the little low riding car.
