I need a 700R4 speedo driven gear and bullet to complete my TH350->700R4 swap. I can't find any places online to get this stuff...

I think I'm going to try and nab the bullet off of an older 700 at a boneyard... for the gear I guess I might have to eat it and go to a dealer.

Do any tranny shops like "Mr. Transmission" deal this stuff?

 

Do you have any of the TH350 stuff left over? I need shift linkage and the TV line.

 

I have everything from the TH350 still...

It doesn't use a TV cable. Instead it has a shift detent cable that is controlled by a vacuum modulator. I'll snap some pics of the stuff I have... and if you want it it's yers.

You can have the stuff for free... I'm never going to use it again. May I ask what you're using it for? I would never consider a TH350 for a thirdgen unless you have insane amounts of power. First gear ratio sucks ***.

I don't have a shifter cable for you because I was using a ratchet shifter with it. But everything else is yours.

PS: The first place I called "The Transmission Man" said they can hook me up with gears and a bullet. So my swap should be done in a few days.

 

Cool, thanks. I went to a TH350 last summer. I used to have a T5, but I wanted an automatic, and I removed the 305 for a 350. I'm not going to be making much hp, but I didn't want to risk it with the T5. I didn't get a chance to finish up the project before i had to put the car away for the winter. Now, I'm trying to get all the parts I needs so when I get the car out I can get everything done.

What is your schedule like? I'm free from 10am to 3pm during the week. This sat I've got a wedding in St. Thomas to goto, but i think Sunday is free.
