Detailing the car for tomorrow

Hey.... just wanted to see what you guys thought of this. Palric mentioned to use foaming tire cleaner/shiner for the wheel wells. I got the Simonize stuff, would it be wise to use it on the engine bay (not the engine itself) just to shine up the paint? I am weary about it, because when I go to paint the engine bay in the later years, I don't want nasty fish eyes popping up everywhere. What do you think guys? Besides that, the rest of the car should be good, wel as good as it gets with out a fresh paint jpb.. LOL

Hey Nate, I wouldn't recommend using that stuff on painted surfaces that you want people to see. If your going to do anything at all, use a good cleaner wax and then follow up with a carnuaba wax. A few coats of that will make the engine bay look pretty glossy. If you want to use that foaming stuff, apply it with a cloth and do any plastic pieces like the strut caps, heater/blower cover, fan shroud, etc.
Just my 2 cents...
