Just bought a set of MAC sfc's, part #4892.
Wanna make sure they're the right ones, before I book it in for installation.

Where is everyone getting these MAC sfcs from ? My last call to Rudy Held's the guy told me MAC does not make them anymore would I like some Comp Engineering SFCs instead ?

I lucked out. K&K Racing in Stratford, had them in stock.
A friend of mine, who owns the Midas shop here in town is going to install them. We did verify they are the right ones, but haven't put them on yet.
There is a set of sfc's for sale in Ontario classifieds.
I didn't notice til after I got mine. Check it out.

 

Do you know if K&K racing can get anymore of them ? I need the dual cat version.

there's probably a reason MAC doesn't make them anymore...cause they can't hold up worth crap. get the Comp. Eng. or fab some up yourself.

MAC's are probably made by some children in a sweat shop.

(Don't argue, I've seen two sets crap out on some 5.0's)

Kevin is the guy to talk to at K&K racing. The set I got was ordered by someone who didn't pick them up. He didn't have them very long, but had no deposit and didn't know if the guy was coming back.
From what I understood, he thought he could still them.
Not trying to argue but I was really surprized at the quality.
