that is close to Mississauga?(or closer)..I got spoiled by Cayuga being only 1.5 hours away

There's one out east I think that is give or take 2 hours depending on traffic. I'll have to double check, but I'm pretty sure its a better option for us GTA people than St. Thomas..

ive heard through the grape vine that markham is next to get a legal drag strip within the next3-5 years depending if the city of makham agrees..no that is a bit closer? isnt it..

If I had the money.. I'd go get some land, permits and build a drag strip.. just to get the snot punks off the road. I swear those kids are dangerous and their "we know jack all" about cars attitude will kill someone...

 

Is'nt there a strip at Mosport - or is that just something they were thinking about doing but never got around to.

 

Cayuga is suppose to reopen in August. There is a larger meet sheduled, and I think the place is under new ownership.
Hopefully, they make it work.

 

I am 85% sure there is a drag strip near Barrie. Take highway 400 down to highway 11 (I think) and take 11 east to 6, and take 6 north about 5 minutes and you'll see some racing/drag area on the left hand side.

 

No drag strip at Mosport, there is an oval track and a go kart track and the road course.
