Where is the best place to have my TH700 rebuilt in the GTA??
Im getting quotes up to $1400.00

stock rebuild i'd say......what do you want??? stock or good awsome hard shifter action. Do you haqve some ***** infront of the tranny now. just to give you an idea. My rebuild consists of a new 8 vein pump, 2000-2300 stall tci street fight converter. B&M blue racing clutch packs. Two extra bands per pack. AALLL new baerings, seals, Corvette servos, and B&M shift kit. The tranny is fricking awsome. Now it cost me a little more cause thew shop that did it are very renown for very excellent work. It cost me 2800$ including parts and labour. And when ever i have a question about it or anything at all, i go there and they are good ehlp all the time.

 

man that is so typical in Canada, I see prices for rebuilt hd trannies(B&M) in the states for like 999 and of course to get the same thing here its nearly triple.That sux

I had the 4L60E in my old 94 TA rebuilt for about that price. Its pretty much the same trans as the 700R4.

 

The only place that I've been pointed toward is a small place near here, the guy builds transmissions for race cars. My friend got the C4 AOD in his T-Bird done for 800...
