I ended up with these parts

Borg Warner 8 mm Wires
Borg Warner Cap (Brass)
Borg Warner Rotor (Brass)
MSD GM Blaster Coil
MSD 8.5 mm Coil Wire
AC Delco Plugs

Results

Idle improved from <500 RPM to 650 RPM when in gear
Idle is a lot smoother overall
Cold starts are back to normal start times
Noticing the header restrictions A LOT

I'm still in the process of testing for stall events, so far so good, much more responsive...

 

What method did you use to mount the MSD coil?

 

The coil mounts to the same spot as before... just had to drill out the riveted brackets on the old one...
