Let's meet up again!!

Okay.....who feels like seeing each others ugly face again?

Not me but I've got no plans for Saturday night so I might as well do something. Relax, before you start smacking me I'm just kidding. I've met up twice and had a good time both times. So what do you say. I prefer Saturday night. If Friday is the majority than the majority it shall be. I'm not fussy about location.

So let's plan

P.S. Does anyone know how many 10 day permits you can buy for the same car in one year? I got one back in May but I need another one. Make that 2. Why??? I haven't bought a sticker for 2002. My plate is up for renewal on September 1. But before I can buy 2003 for $74 I have to buy 2002 for $74. Before you start blasting, WAIT. The Ministry has made a rule change. You can't buy a sticker for the pro-rated value meaning If 6 months are left you still pay the full amount. The only other way around it is when you store your car in the winter you remove the plates from the car. Not just physically but by going to the Ministry and they remove your plates from the system. When it's time to bring the car back on the road you go back to the Ministry and put the plates back on. This way you carry over the months stored to when you actually drive the car. So when you buy a new sticker they deduct the number of months the car was not driven according to the system and than they give you a pro-rated amount.

Now why do I need two 10 day permits? 1 is for dyno day and track day and the 2nd one is for this weekend and the next. After track day my car is stored untill next May 24. She likes to sleep long.

Make sense? Probably not. I'll explain in person when we meet up. I basicly drove my car for $30 this year. If I can only find my drive clean results...........

Depends if the gf is coming to visit from Ottawa... she's busy moving to a new place... may end up going there instead, may not.. see how the week turns out.

Friday is a better bet for me in this case.

You'll have to explain to me your plan in person.. I think just go with the 10 day, build up the engine and when its ready to be on the road officially, go buy the yearly permit like the rest of us lol... is $74 really that much of a hassle compared to this?

If we can't meet this weekend than the next is fine. I thought one more meet before duno day would be nice.

Slade1 - That $74 went towards new cap, rotor and wires(Taylor).
But $74 for one month just didn't seem worth it. Anyways September 1st is this weekend. Might as well buy. Come to think of it...I have to buy it. If I wait till next year my emission test will expire I'm going this weekend. How long is an emission test good for?? 6 months?

I dont suppose if you take it off the road like that you can carry your emmisions pass for 4 years instead of 2? Eg. 6 months a year on road, 2 years is 24 months instead of 24 straight. Probly not but its worth asking

So anyone up for a meet? GF called and said she can't make it down and I got a long *** story I gave to her why I won't drive up to Ottawa, its her turn to see me dammit!

Anyways though I have a good reason, I discovered a nail in my front passenger side tire.. it was sideways into the tread didn't puncture the chamber, but I'm gonna observe it for awhile, I filled it with rubber cement and some sticky stuff used to patch tires to reinforce that spot. Hope it holds but I'm not gonna test it by taking a 500 km trip... it gets the downtown toronto driving for a week test first.
