Kev I was wondering if that K&N lid actually made a difference in performance. When I had the Trans Am I thought about getting one but considered it a waste of money. What is your opinion and have you Dyno tested it yet?

I got the lid for two reasons, one was the hood clearance with the Holley carb. I had to go to a 2.5" filter so with the lid I maximized the air intake. It's like having no filter on at all. the second was just that, I wanted to maximize the air intake. As for dynoing, I tried a run with my stock setup first, then I did a run with the K&N's and I increased my torque by 17 ft/lbs and the HP curve peaked quicker. It didn't actually change the HP but it increased the power curve. 88 Farmkid dynoed with my filter and it changed his HP and torque. I am not sure what he had before, but with the filter he ran 275 RWHP before his rev limiter kicked in.
All in all, I would have to say that the filter was a good investment. Dyno Day is just around the corner, you should come out, even just to meet up with the guys and check out the cars. Last time we had a blast.

I work long hours now but if I am off I will come out and watch. I am saving the 2.2 monster until the 21st. Now you need a nice catback to get that extra air out the back. I got a air intake on the 2.2 now and I need a catback with a deep sounding muffler (no high pitch honda sound) I seen one that I like the sound and look of it has dual 3" stainless round tips. This is it:

That will look pretty cool. I agree, I need an exhaust system. I am still contemplating on Brads Flowmaster, but at the same time I need the whole system...headers & cat-back.$$$$$$$$
