We will meet at the 410 & 7 Tim Hortons and leave at 7:30am SHARP.

Meet Spot 2

From there we will leave and go to the 401 and Trafalgar car pool parking lot and meet with the TFBM guys and we will there at 8:00am SHARP.

This gives us time for a pit stop on the way and we stil make it there for 10:00am.

Damn you and your early Sat morning times... We should make a quick stop to meet with the K-W people as well... now that would be one hell of a convoy...

 

The TFBM guys dont stop but I will ask maybe the Kitchener guys could pick a spot right on the 401

 

Hey Paul, our usual meeting spot in Kitchener is just off the 401 on Homer Watson BLVD. If they don't feel like stopping there, then the K-W guys can meet there and when you guys reach the service center outside of Cambridge, someone can call one of us on the cell. We can then proceed to the 401 and let you guys catch up to us, then we will just merge in. It's a thought, anyways...

iroc2nv - depending on where your coming from will determine who your meeting up with first. You live in Newmarket(keswick) right? What's closer to you 410/7 or Krispy Kreme? Me, Slade and Tanager will meet at the K K and from there go to K W to meet up with that group and then hopefull meet up with Paul and the tfbm group.

we have 2 different convoys..

Well yes and no. 410/7 and k k are two different meeting places. From the 410/7 the tfbm is going to go to the Trafalgar/401 car pool. The k k group is going to go to Kitchener/Waterloo to meet up with another group. From there we are trying to get the two groups the rendevous somewhere along the way on the highway or where ever.

So really, just choose the closest group to you and go from there. One way or another the two groups will eventually meet up. If not, we'll have two sets of groups going. Oneway or another both convoys are going to be big.

 

Geez I guess I am going to make it for the drag day. I was going to hit the cottage, like last week, but I have decided to stay in town again. Slade/Redxtsy did you guys want to meet up at KK again or just meet at 401 and trafalger ( I vote for 401/trafalger since I live ant 401 and winston churchill) but either way guys let me know and I will be there.

And Yes I am going to race that goat of mine, get ready for a solid 17 on the track baby. Oh well atleast I will look good doing it!

 

Ok here's my suggestion for the convoy...

meet at the first closest spot to you. For most people 410 and 7 is actually out of the way...

First spot

Krispy Kream
7:30-7:45 am

Second Option

Trafalgar (corrected)

8:00 departure

or

KW Tim Horton's

8:45

Final goal is around the Hwy 8 Homer Watson area the convoy's will unite. Thirdgen and TFBM alike.

I expect this to occur around 9 am if all goeas according to schedule. If the TFBM group gets underway a bit earlier, I may break convoy like a headless horseman and serve fair warning to the KW group. That or just be lazy and call with my cell lol.

 

Slade the TFBM leaves Trafalgar at 8am sharp. Mybe you could give Kev a heads up with your cell phone

 

Hey Paul, Trigger was saying that the TFBM will more than likely go via the 403. Is that true?
If so then we will just meet up with whoever wants to join us, and then head down together. I recruited another friend of mine, he's got the 1995 T/A. Beautiful white car with bitch red interior. I will let everyone know that we are to be at the Tims at around 8:15. Slade can call me on my cell when you get to the service center outside of Cambridge. That will give us about 5-10 minutes to be on the 401.

Still got it Kev.. I don't imagine them going via 403.. that would be backtracking from Trafalgar, unless they avoid the 401 and head south to the QEW... that just doesn't seem right to me though... To head to trafalgar tim's at 401 only to head south to 403?

403 does meet up with the 401 prior to London though, but that's coming from Hamilton as I recall.

If anything, the guys from the Hamilton/Niagara region would take the 403 and head to 401, right?

The K-W crew will consist of myself, Palric, 86IROKZ, a friend of mine with the 95 T/A and another with a Gixxer ( Suzuki 750 GSXR) and possibly a couple more.

 

Me, Slade, and Dave will be at k k Irco2nv. Look for 1 red T/A, 1 hand painted T/A and one blue/purple T/A.
