Camshaft question....

i have the Lg4 engine.,....whats the best camshaft for it without having to modify everything else...basically a straight swap.!

I had a 217/225 .505/.525 roller on my L03 which was way too much for the speed density system to deal with (custom chips or otherwise) but it was ALOT OF FUN nonetheless.

The 256XE is 218/224 and .465/.477 with 1.6s would gross .496/.508 and 1-3 more degrees timing. That would work well if you are straight carb if electronic carb... start snipping wires or something... no just kidding if E-carb then max cam is going to be around 204/210 duration.
